GiveBack DC 2013 Is Only 4 Months Away!

Remember last year’s GiveBack DC event? It was pretty awesome and The Web Development Group (WDG) was so excited to work together with some of the brightest in the DC creative world to give back to our fantastic community!

For 2013, WDG is working harder to make this year’s GiveBack DC bigger and more collaborative to help even more local nonprofits! This September, GiveBack DC is bringing together four of the top creative web agencies in the DC area to create brand new web experiences for four very lucky local nonprofits. WDG is proud to announce that nclud, Free Range Studios, and Threespot will all be joining WDG to build first-class web experiences for four handpicked, local nonprofits.
These deserving nonprofits will be receiving web packages worth over $50,000, including:

• Redesigned Website UX & Design,
• Implementation of a Drupal or WordPress Content Management System,
• Branded social media and a post-launch social media strategy,
• The tools and knowledge to better reach a broader audience and gain more recognition online
• The opportunity to work with some of the best designers and developers in the DC creative community!

…. just to name a few things each selected nonprofit will be receiving during GiveBack DC!

GiveBack DC is currently accepting applications for nonprofits interested in being a part of this year’s event, so be sure to apply now!

Deadline for all nonprofits to apply for GiveBack DC 2013 is August 1st, 2013. Nonprofits will be selected for GiveBack DC by a panel of judges on August 6th, 2013 and then matched with one of the participating agencies (you’re going to be in great hands!) to spend the next 45 days working closely to build your nonprofit the new, spectacular web experience!

The Unveilings … September 26th

To wrap up GiveBack DC 2013, WDG is hosting GiveBack DC’s ShowCase on September 26th in Washington, DC. During the private party and between the networking and dancing, each of the phenomenal agencies will unveil and show off their respective nonprofit’s amazing new web experience. This will be a night you won’t want to miss!
