EcoUnit approached WDG to transform their environmentally progressive eco rewards program. As a result our staff built a dynamic registration and rewards registry using Python and Django.

Our work with Ecounit included designing their logo, the implementation of a Content Management System, and Technical Support upon completion.

The EcoUnit web application provides an extra motivation to consumers so that they will guide marketers and help them better understand the interests of the eco-aware consumer. The model calls for a large portion of every project to be earmarked specifically for the environment and the system does this in the form of EcoUnit credits, which can be redeemed for carbon offsets, tree planting, habitat preservation, and various other green products and causes. So not only are users contributing to a better world by helping companies design more eco-friendly products and services, users earn credits that help the environment each time they participate.
